In a magical land, witches do magic by casting Hexes. There are six elements that control the forces of magic in this world: Flame, Frost, Lightning, Wave, Gust, and Miasma. By matching tiles of the same element, you can do magic! Try pulling off big hexes for massive damage!

This is an action puzzle game inspired by 90s classics. Your block stack raises upwards. Swap tiles horizontally to match colors. Let gravity chain multiple matches to cast hexes.

CHARACTERS

HEX POP stars a group of witches who are all studying magic together at the Enclave. Each one has an affinity for one of the elements.

• Madeline, the cheery witch of Flame! A determined girl with a lot to prove.
• Leigh, the laid-back witch of Lightning! A prankster who likes to take it easy.
• Beth, the curious witch of Miasma! A smart girl who worries a lot.
• Rosanna, the alluring witch of Gust! An elegant Sylph who's always stealing hearts.
• Nina, the fun witch of Wave! A happy girl who wants to have a good time.
• Glacia, the serious witch of Frost! A cold girl who is very direct

These may not be the only characters though...?

GAME MODES

The demo contains three modes: Endless, Gauntlet, and Versus.

• Endless Mode: Pop until you can't pop any more! The stack raises faster and faster.
  Go for a high score!
• Gauntlet Mode: An endless array of foes to battle by casting hexes on them.
  Be wary of elemental affinities!
• Versus Mode: Two players locally compete head-to-head!
  Cast hexes to make the opponent tap out!

There may be a secret mode as well...?

IN THE FUTURE

You may think of this demo as being in a sort of early alpha stage. Many of the graphics are placeholders, and the UI is subject to change. Gameplay tweaks are also likely to happen as the game is further developed.
Here's some features that are not in the demo but are planned to be included in the final release:

• Arcade Mode: Fight a series of CPU-controller players until you reach the end.
• Quest Mode: Follow an adventure with Madeline and friends in a world of magic and wonder.
• Witchy Versus: Use your elemental abilities to swing the tide of battle!
• Shop: Unlockable characters, board skins, and more.
• Custom Character Support: Bring your own creations into the world of HEX POP.
